The Municipal Agency for Town Planning in Almería Local Government has awarded the Temporary Joint Venture (UTE) made up of rb Ingenieros Consultores - Ides Ingenieros - Ineco the contract to prepare the project and carry out the administration and observation tasks for the Desdoblamiento de la Antigua CN-344, Tramo I: Aeropuerto - Antigua CN-349 y Tramo II: Antigua CN-349 - El Toyo (Almería) (Duplication of the old road CN-344, Section I: Airport – Old road CN-349, and Section II: Old road CN-349 - El Toyo (Almería)).

Section I will be about 4.00 km long and Section II about 1.80 km long. Section I will be a highway and Section II will be a boulevard.

This new project will absorb the high traffic density of this road section.
