Corporate social responsibility
rb Ingenieros Consultores has a clearly responsible mission, focusing all its efforts towards the meeting of the implicit and explicit needs of our main stakeholders: shareholders, suppliers and customers (both external and internal). Society understands Corporate Responsibility as an uprising value, a transparency guarantee and something necessary to achieve a sustainable growth in present society. We also understand that rb Ingenieros Consultores has acquired responsibility for the social tissue in which it operates and we intend to manage this responsibility in the best possible way.
We have defined a Strategic Plan for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the period 2009-2012 which develops around 9 measures covering a number of aspects to be taken into account from the Sustainability point of view. A series of benchmarks have been defined in order to ensure the traceability of results and information transparency.
The following are the Strategic Plan measures:

| • | Establishing a Corporate Social Responsibility Department and providing it with operating resources. | |
| • | Advancing in the reconciliation of work and family life. | |
| • | Encouraging training among the firm’s employees. | |
| • | Co-participation of the firm and its employees in cooperation projects which promote the development of social responsibility and environmental protection programs. | |
| • | Including Internal Training Plans on CSR. | |
| • | Normalizing the use of environmental risk analyses in the jobs carried out for our customers as an added value to the service provided. | |
| • | Promoting best practices in management, ensuring compliance with regulations, transparency, business ethics and an adequate risk management. | |
| • | Maintaining the management systems that have been certified so far (ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004), using them as a tool for a constant improvement. |
